         <description xml:space="preserve">March Build Mercedes Benz C Class Coupe C63 Amg 457bhp

Think BMW M3. Think Audi RS5. Think muscle coupe. Mercedes' fantastic C Class Coupe bangs on the door and takes over the VIP area at this rather exclusive party. and now, so can you!

Never before have we seen a lease deal that gets the customer into a 6.2 litre V8 487bhp engine super coupe from under £460 per month.*

The C63 AMG Coupe will get you from 0-62 mph in 4.5 seconds and the car is so fast that it has been limited (ahem!) to 155 miles per hour.

In typical Mercedes style, the C63 allows the driver to participate somewhat genteelly in day to day driving by utilising the 7 speed Speedshift sports box with the three main modes - S, S+ &amp; M - but let's not forget the Race Start facility that basically allows you to burn it around to your heart's content (of course, you would never do that now, would you?).

It looks as good as you would expect with the famous red calipers and AMG styling and of course, inside, there is a plethora of driver goodies to keep you entertained. Obviously, one would assume that these are meant for when you are stuck in a jam or something as driving this car is designed to keep you fully entertained.

At a price like this, it's got to be worth a punt... makes you feel better at the petrol pump, anyway, and it certainly helps to keep your other half sweet.

         <title>TOYOTA ALL NEW RAV4 REVIEW</title>
         <link>http://www.allvehiclecontracts.co.uk/Newsroom/Article.aspx?title=TOYOTA_ALL_NEW_RAV4_REVIEW</link>
<description xml:space="preserve">Have Toyota successfully re-invented their (second biggest) wheel?

After many incarnations, is the 2013 RAV4 really that different?

Everyone knows the RAV4. We all remember the first incarnation of the RAV4 with its quirky styling and the famous spare wheel mounted proudly on the back - just like a "proper" "big boy" 4x4. But some may argue that for many years, the RAV4 hasn't really been taken as seriously as Toyota would have liked...

Average sales, fair to middling reviews, and a bit of a faceless image followed the RAV4 wherever it went. Which, to be fair, was quite far (reliability has always been one of Toyota's strongpoints). It wasn't that it was unpopular; it was just met with an air of nonchalance.

So somebody, somewhere at Toyota Head Office obviously decided that enough was enough. Time to give this baby a makeover. But this time, a proper one. Time to re-invent the RAV4 wheel.

As long-time Toyota devotees, we have always advocated the Japanese manufacturer's range of cars and commercials. We have praised their efficiency, reliability, and practicality. Because that's what Toyotas are good at.

For the last few years, however, we have been finding ourselves mentioning the increasingly stylish lines of many of the new additions. Toyota have already started their culling campaign by replacing some of the old (some might say) "fuddy-duddy" models of old (think: Starlet) with cars like the all-new Auris and Yaris. Don't forget about the strongest - and bravest - style &amp; driver focused statement of all, the GT86.

But for some reason, the good old RAV4 has just kept on plodding on. With every mini-makeover came a tweak here and a tweak there, and a bit of a rejig here and a rejig there, but the RAV4 remained instantly recognisable as, well, a RAV4.

2013 heralds the beginning of a new era for our SUV friend. The new design is vastly different. In fact, when the new vehicle rolled up for our appreciation many of the people in the office didn't even know what it was (CRV? One said. Kia Sportage? Piped another. Range Rover Evoque? Proffered someone else. Steady on, I said.)

Anyway, to cut a long story short, the new RAV4 looks stunning. It is - dare I say it - agressive. The exterior is bold and sleek, with smart looking alloy wheels as standard, a feisty looking grille and a rather menacing and noticeably larger boot. Even the headlights are unrecognisable from the old RAV4's dainty little petals.

Toyota were determined, apparently, to respond to customer's demands when designing the new RAV4. After ditching the rear spare tyre and replacing it with underfloor storage, they then ensured that the boot space was a whopping 30% bigger than its predecessor, with a lower load height that means getting things in and out is much, much easier. What's more, a power back door is standard on the Icon and the Invincible models - what a refreshing change.

Inside, the passenger / driver friendly improvements just keep on coming. Firstly there's bags of space (enough for it to offer the best space/ rear seat passenger ratio in its class). Then there is Toyota's "Easy Flat" system that makes folding the rear seats down childsplay.

What amazed me was the interior trim. Was it a Toyota? Or was it (dare I say it?) A Lexus? Gone are the bland plastic trims of yesteryear, and in their place is a whole new animal. The feel inside is more like a cockpit than a family car, with smooth lines sweeping up from the instrument dials all the way to the steering column and beyond. The cupholder is in the right position (again, little details make all the difference - Toyota have listened, folks!), the dials and switches are chunky and user friendly, and the seats are comfortable, even on the Active model.

What we all wanted to know was the burning question. The make or break. How did it drive, and crucially, what would we get out of it? Whereas fuel used to be an afterthought when buying your new car, now it is a necessity to factor it into your equations.

The model that we had given to us for review was the 6 gear 2.0 D-4D 2WD Active manual. So although we couldn't give it a run for it's money off road, we sure could on road.

School runs were a breeze, as were the commutes into the office. Getting out of the sticks and into the town was so much easier with the higher driving position - I found it quite bizarre how far up the new RAV4 seemed to sit considering that the load height is so low.

The ride was smooth whether negotiating cobbly side road terrain, country lanes or motorways, and during the time that we had the RAV4, it was actually the snowy spell. I live at the bottom of four hills and usually get stuck. But I didn't - well done Toyota for building a car with 2WD that has rescued me where others have failed. Of course, I have no idea if the previous model would have managed this, but I felt that I had to mention it.

The boot was rather full with the usual clobber that goes with kids and babies. So there was quite a bit of added weight - I was concerned that this would affect the economy. Toyota boast 57.6mpg combined, 49.6mpg urban and an amazing 64.2mpg extra-urban. On average, on my day to day "combined" driving duties, I managed 54.8. Yes, 54.8. And that was with the buggies and baby paraphernalia in situ. Far more than my previous review car which, all I will say, was billed as a small "economy" 3 door vehicle.

I will tell you a little secret. Initially I was quite disappointed that I wasn't given the all singing all dancing Invincible model. I wanted to play about with the AWD and the Integrated Dynamic Drive System. I wanted to tat about with the gadgets. I wanted to put it in sport mode. I wanted to take it off road and sit in the sumptuous leather cocoon whilst listening to my iPod really loudly using the Toyota Touch multimedia screen.

But truth be told, for what I needed it for, which was actually for day to day driving, this car was perfect. And I had a total of 7 people stop me and ask me about it (far more than some of the more "prestige" marques that I have had the good fortune to wallop about in).

So Toyota - have you really re-invented the RAV4? Well, it's getting a lot more Lexus-like than ever before (and that's a good thing), it's even more efficient, it looks bloody good and it's still as practical as ever. You may not have re-invented it, but you have certainly re-designed it, improved it and listened to your customers whilst doing so.

After all, why totally fix something unless it's broken?

Good job we've got it on offer then. Click through to quote on:

         <title>Toyota honoured in LowCVP Awards</title>

         <description xml:space="preserve">Toyota's green credentials hailed

Toyota's leadership in reducing the environmental impact of everyday motoring helped it secure the title of 'Car and Van Manufacturer of the Year' in the Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership awards last month.

Announcing the awards, Andy Eastlake, LowCVP Managing Director, said: "In a year of outstanding growth in UK car sales, Toyota, the name synonymous with hybrids, has introduced the technology across the widest range of vehicles on the market. Thirty per cent of its sales are now of vehicles which produce less than 100g/km of CO2.

"With an impressive increase in its sales and market share, together with a UK CO2 average below 120g/km, this really does show Toyota's strong determination to reduce carbon from cars."

Meanwhile, the roll call of LowCVP's Low Carbon Champions also included Graham Smith OBE, Managing Director Toyota Motor Europe London Office, who was named 'Outstanding Individual in Promoting Low Carbon Transport'. He was the founding chairman of the UK LowCVP from 2003 to 2009 and remains a member of its board of trustees.

"Toyota is committed not only to reduce the CO2 emissions from its vehicles, but from every aspect of its business," added the manufacturer. "A large scale carbon reduction programme has been implemented across the 180-strong Toyota Centre network, which achieved a 15 per cent year-on-year CO2 reduction in 2012."

In the past year Toyota has also launched four new hybrids. The newcomers include the seven-seat Prius+ and Yaris Hybrid, as well as the new, British-built Auris hybrid hatchback, and Prius Plug-in, Toyota's first plug-in hybrid electric vehicle.

Mercedes-Benz UK recorded a 7.4 per cent rise in registrations for the month of January, according to figures released by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), it has been confirmed.

Among the strongest performers in January was the C-Class Saloon, placed first in its highly-competitive market segment with a 12.8 per cent increase compared with the same period last year. Likewise, the E-Class Saloon recorded an even stronger start to the year, claiming the number one spot in its segment with a 30.9 per cent gain in registrations.

<title>Suzuki Swift sales pass three million</title>
         <link>http://www.allvehiclecontracts.co.uk/Newsroom/Article.aspx?title=Suzuki_Swift_sales_pass_three_million</link>
         <description xml:space="preserve">Continued success for Suzuki's global supermini

Global sales of the Suzuki Swift reached a new milestone at the end of last month, it has been confirmed.

"When the Suzuki Motor Corporation launched Swift - its first global strategic model - in Japan in late 2004, it brought a blend of eye-catching good looks, Japanese quality and European inspired driving dynamics to the compact car segment," said the manufacturer. "Those attributes are still as strong today and Suzuki is pleased to announce that global sales have now passed the three million mark - exactly two years since the celebration of two million units."

Globally, around 13 per cent of Swift sales are in Japan, 45 per cent in India and 23 per cent in Europe with the remainder from other world markets.

Since its launch in the UK in May 2005, more than 80,000 Swifts have been sold and it accounts for around 36 per cent of the UK sales mix.

The Swift is available in three and five door body styles and offers very low cost of ownership with CO2 emissions of just 109g/km for the 1.3 DDiS model and 116g/km for the 1.2 petrol engine with manual transmission.

Standard equipment includes seven airbags; ESP; radio/CD player with USB port; remote central locking and immobiliser; electric front windows; electric and heated door mirrors and steering wheel-mounted audio controls.

<description xml:space="preserve">UK order books to open in April

Audi has taken the wraps of the all-new S3 Sportback ahead of its public debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month.

The five-door hatchback has a longer wheelbase than both its predecessor and the three-door S3 for improved passenger and luggage accommodation and 'even broader appeal'. It is also 70 kg lighter, Audi claims.

Power meanwhile is channelled to its completely new quattro-equipped chassis by a 2.0-litre TFSI petrol engine which is also totally new and combines 300PS with 40mpg capability. It will be capable of powering the car from 0-62 mph in 5 seconds with S tronic transmission and 5.5 seconds with manual transmission. Top speed is electronically limited to 155mph.

Other changes include optional all-LED headlights and Audi magnetic ride - an electromagnetic damper control system.

Despite these improvements though, pricing will remained unchanged and will be 'no higher than outgoing model', Audi says.

UK order books will open in April, with first deliveries in September.

         <title>Renault Kangoo Van gets facelift</title>
         <link>http://www.allvehiclecontracts.co.uk/Newsroom/Article.aspx?title=Renault_Kangoo_Van_gets_facelift</link>
<description xml:space="preserve">Refreshed model to appear this summer

Renault's facelifted Kango Van broke cover this month.

Since its launch in 2008, the second-generation Kangoo Van has already found favour with more than 400,000 business customers, but it has now been updated and the release of the brand new 'Phase 2 version' will cover the entire range, from Kangoo Van, and Kangoo Maxi, to Kangoo Van Z.E. and Kangoo Maxi Z.E.

One of the most noticeable updates is the new front end, which sees the introduction of a new front bumper and the incorporation of Renault's new design language, with a more prominent, vertically positioned logo.

There are also new door mirrors and headlights, while inside the dashboard has been revised in order to 'heighten the impression of quality'.

Meanwhile, in terms of engines, the line-up includes a 'choice of responsive, yet economical powerplants, two of which return the lowest fuel consumption in their segment': "The dCi 75 Stop&amp;Start and dCi 90 Stop&amp;Start engines boast NEDC combined-cycle fuel consumption of just 4.3 litres/100km or 65.7mpg (equivalent to 112g/km of CO2)," Renault claims.

The latest-generation engines also come with a gear shift indicator as standard, as well as an ECO mode that can achieve fuel savings of up to 10 per cent by acting on engine torque, the gear shift indications and accelerator pedal mapping.

"The result is lower running costs and TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) savings, two fundamental considerations for business owners," Renault added. "Costs have been further reduced by longer engine servicing intervals for core versions (every two years or 25,000 miles, instead of every two years or 18,600 miles previously)."

Finally, new equipment includes ESC with Hill Start Assist and Grip Xtend, plus, the connected in-dash Renault R-Link multimedia system, while the Kangoo Van Z.E. gets a new specific front bumper, incorporating the flap for the battery charger behind the bigger, blue-tinted, more vertically-positioned logo, to make it clearly identifiable as an electric vehicle.

The facelifted Kangoo Van range is due to arrive in the UK this summer.

<title>Citroen confirms strong fleet sales performance for January</title>
         <link>http://www.allvehiclecontracts.co.uk/Newsroom/Article.aspx?title=Citroen_confirms_strong_fleet_sales_performance_for_January</link>
<description xml:space="preserve">Fleet car sales up almost 20 per cent year on year

Citroen has started 2013 with an 'exceptional fleet sales performance' for both its car and LCV ranges.

In January, Citroen's fleet cars took 3.32 per cent of the total fleet sector with 2,740 registrations. This represents a year on year increase for January of no less than 19.39 per cent, a significant increase compared to the market, which was up by just 8.41 per cent.

Citroen also delivered a strong showing from its LCV models. Citroen LCV fleet sales were up by 10.16 per cent to 1,627 registrations to take 9.89 per cent of the LCV market during the month. Market growth was also encouraging, with an increase of 10.12 per cent compared with January 2012.

Martin Hamill, Citroen's Fleet Director, commented: "This strong fleet sales performance going into 2013 is great news for Citroen and builds on the brand's success in 2012, when it again outsold the fleet market in both cars and LCVs.

"Today's Citroen car range offers fleet drivers, at virtually every level, an economical, well equipped and environmentally responsible choice of vehicle. Spearheading Citroen's fleet car success is the DS range, which is going from strength to strength.

"At the same time we are also seeing tremendous sales performance from Citroen's award-winning LCV range, which continues to appeal to all classes of business user from the sole trader to the largest fleet."

         <title>SEAT Leon SC revealed</title>
         <link>http://www.allvehiclecontracts.co.uk/Newsroom/Article.aspx?title=SEAT_Leon_SC_revealed</link>
<description xml:space="preserve">"Leon SC is the sportiest and most emotional member of the Leon family... "

SEAT revealed the new Leon SC - Sport Coupe - last week ahead of its public debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.

The 'striking' three-door hatchback is being billed as the 'most sporting model in the SEAT range' and it is also said to be 'surprisingly practicality' with rear headroom and boot space remaining the same as that of the five-door Leon.

Unlike the five-door though, the wheelbase has been shortened by 35 mm to ensure 'even greater agility'.

It will be powered by a 'series of powerful and efficient TDI and TSI engines' all of which feature direct injection and turbocharging. The TSI and TDI units, ranging from 1.2- to 2.0-litre, cover a performance spectrum of 105 PS to 184 PS.

"Every one combines power with cost effectiveness, with the cleanest 1.6-litre TDI emitting less than 100 g/km CO2," SEAT said.

The Leon SC will be offered in S, SE and FR specifications in the UK. Order books are expected to open next month after its Geneva launch. Pricing has still to be confirmed. We will keep you posted.

"The new Leon SC is the design icon of the model line-up. It conveys perfectly the core values of the SEAT brand - design and dynamics, technology and quality, all at a fair price," summarised James Muir, President of SEAT S.A.

<title>Volvo confirms CO2 and fuel economy improvements on new automatic models</title>
         <link>http://www.allvehiclecontracts.co.uk/Newsroom/Article.aspx?title=Volvo_confirms_CO2_and_fuel_economy_improvements_on_new_automatic_models</link>
<description xml:space="preserve">Company Car drivers to benefit from 'significant savings' as a result

'Extensive CO2 and fuel efficiency gains with no price changes on new automatic Volvos are set to deliver significant savings to Company Car drivers and their employers', the Swedish manufacturer has said.

The improvements 'underline' Volvo's commitment to ensuring that drivers of automatic cars can receive the same benefits as their manual counterparts.

Effective immediately, new S80, V70, S60 and V60 D3 and D4 Geartronic versions will emit under 130g/km CO2 - a 4 percentage point improvement on current BIK (benefit-in-kind) banding. This equates to £21 per month for a 20 per cent tax payer based on 2012/13 tax bandings, driving a Volvo V60 D4 SE LUX Geartronic. Employers also save on class 1A NIC contributions which are also determined by CO2 emissions.

The changes have delivered an 11 per cent emissions reduction on S60 D3/D4 Geartronic, which now produces just 126g/km CO2 (down from 142g/km) and returns 58.9mpg (52.3mpg on the previous production model). These improvements have helped reduce BIK from 22 per cent to just 19 per cent this year and to 20 per cent for the upcoming 2013/2014 financial year.

Another model in the Volvo range that will benefit from the latest enhancements is the XC60 D4 FWD Geartronic. Fuel economy for this model rises to 47.1mpg from 41.5mpg and it now produces just 159g/km CO2, a 19g/km CO2 improvement on the previous production model. The corresponding fall in BIK sees this vehicle drop from the 29 per cent BIK banding to just 25 per cent for the current financial year and 26 per cent for the 2013/2014 financial year.

"The vast majority of existing orders needn't take any further action as vehicles built from 11th February will automatically benefit from the CO2 and fuel economy enhancements," Volvo added.

Selwyn Cooper, Volvo Car UK national corporate operations manager said: "We are committed to the company car driver and we are continuing to strive to improve CO2 at every level. Business drivers are more likely to opt for automatics and we don't want them penalised by paying much higher BIK so we are doing everything we can to create vehicles that are kinder to the environment and hence, the pocket."

         <title>Audi A3 Cabriolet in final swansong</title>
         <link>http://www.allvehiclecontracts.co.uk/Newsroom/Article.aspx?title=Audi_A3_Cabriolet_in_final_swansong</link>
<description xml:space="preserve">A3 Cabriolet Sport and S line Final Edition models replace existing Sport and S line versions

The Audi A3 Cabriolet is now available in a Final Edition specification, it has been announced.

Based on the familiar Sport and S line specification levels, the new Final Edition variants include 'numerous enhancements' which 'maximise comfort, convenience and driving pleasure' and they have been rolled out to help the current Audi A3 Cabriolet 'withdraw gracefully'.

The A3 Cabriolet Sport Final Edition takes the already 'comprehensively' equipped Sport model and replaces its cloth upholstery with supple Vienna leather. It also adds front seat heating, rear parking sensors, automatic headlight and wiper activation, cruise control and a Bluetooth mobile phone interface. These comfort and convenience features are in addition to existing Sport trimmings such as 17-inch alloy wheels, sports suspension, dual-zone climate control, a Concert CD audio system with auxiliary iPod/MP3 socket and a fast-acting fully automatic acoustic hood.

S line Final Edition models offer 'even more luxury to complement their even more sporting stance'. They replace the original 18-inch S line alloy wheel with a new five-segment spoke design, add full Vienna leather upholstery in place of the original fabric and leather combination and boost the list of S line safety and entertainment features to include xenon plus headlights with LED daytime running lamps, DVD-based satellite-navigation, Audi Music Interface iPod connection and a BOSE sound system.

The premium for the new A3 Cabriolet Sport Final Edition model is £2,340 over the standard A3 Cabriolet, which also continues in this final production run. Compared with the cost of specifying its additional equipment individually, this premium represents a saving of £1,605. The step up to the S line Final Edition from the Sport Final Edition costs an additional £2,435, effectively saving £3,640 compared with choosing its additional equipment separately.

Power options for standard Cabriolet models, and both Final Edition variants, include three responsive and frugal turbo charged and directly injected petrol units - the 1.2 TFSI with 105PS, the 1.8 TFSI with 160PS and the 2.0 TFSI with 200PS - or two turbo charged direct injection diesels - the 1.6 TDI with 105PS and the 2.0 TDI with 140PS. Depending on the engine chosen, these offer economy potential of up to 65.7mpg with CO2 output of as little as 114g/km.

Prices for the final Cabriolet range start from £21,435 on-the-road (OTR) for the 1.2 TFSI standard model. Sport Final Edition versions start from £23,775 OTR, and S line Final Editions from £26,210 OTR.

<title>Qashqai and Juke drive sales success for Nissan</title>
         <link>http://www.allvehiclecontracts.co.uk/Newsroom/Article.aspx?title=Qashqai_and_Juke_drive_sales_success_for_Nissan</link>
<description xml:space="preserve">Qashqai UK's fifth most popular car in January

Nissan has built on its record-breaking 2012 with an 'impressive start' to 2013, it has been confirmed.

The British-built Qashqai and Juke are now more popular than ever, giving Nissan two spots in the top ten UK sellers list.

Figures from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) show the ground-breaking Qashqai crossover was the UK's fifth bestselling car in January 2013 - its highest chart position to date.

Meanwhile, the striking Juke underlined its growing popularity with buyers by breaking into the top ten for the first time.

The figures come just weeks after official SMMT statistics showed the carmaker's overall sales rocketed by 9.9 per cent in 2012, helping it to a record 5.2 per cent share of the UK's new car market.

Jim Wright, Managing Director of Nissan GB, said: "Our innovative and exciting products continue to connect with British motorists and we are making the kinds of vehicles they really want to drive.

"The Qashqai has been a remarkable vehicle for us and continues to defy industry convention by becoming more popular with each passing year.

"Juke has also been a phenomenally successful model and appears to be following the trend set by its big brother. If anything, Juke is performing even more impressively than Qashqai was at the same period in its life. The next year will see the arrival of more innovative and exciting product from Nissan, so I'm certain more records will fall."

<description xml:space="preserve">Third generation model on sale now from £24,224 on-the-road

Mitsubishi Motors UK announced the arrival of the third generation Mitsubishi Outlander last week.

The all-new Outlander SUV is being billed as 'the greenest, most stylish and most technologically advanced yet'.

It is also apparently the safest and achieved an impressive 5 star Euro NCAP safety rating, thanks in part to new features such as City Crash Provision and the improvement of Mitsubishi's existing safety system 'RISE' as standard. The new vehicle also boasts a new range topping GX5 derivative with Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Mitigation and Adaptive Cruise Control technology.

It will be available with a re-developed version of the 'established and technologically advanced' Mitsubishi 4N14 2.2-litre 16v DOHC diesel engine, which now produces improved low-end torque, superior fuel economy, class leading CO2 emissions of just 138 g/km of CO2 and easily meets the latest Euro 6 emission standards. The new Outlander has also been designed to have built-in provisions for either Internal Combustion Engine or Plug-In Hybrid powertrains.

Two gearboxes are available - a six-speed manual and a INVECS-II six-speed automatic - and it will come in four trims, GX2, GX3, GX4 and GX5.

Prices will start from £24,224 OTR for the entry-level GX2, while the top-of-the-range, GX5, will cost £33,999.

"This car is hugely important for Mitsubishi Motors in the UK," said Lance Bradley, Managing Director of Mitsubishi Motors in the UK, "and we are confident that it will appeal to our existing customers and attract new ones."

<description xml:space="preserve">Available to order now with first deliveries in the spring

Vauxhall has added a 'potent' BiTurbo engine to its Zafira Tourer range.

It follows on from the relatively recent addition of BiTurbo diesel powerplants to its Astra and Insigna models.

The Zafira Tourer BiTurbo, powered by a 2.0-litre 195PS diesel engine, will be capable of a top speed of 135 mph and will go from 0-60 mph in 8.5 seconds, making it one of the fastest diesel-powered, seven-seat MPVs on the market.

Start/Stop technology meanwhile will help the BiTurbo achieve an 'impressive' combined fuel economy figure of just 50.4mpg and CO2 emissions of 149g/km.

"Vauxhall is currently the only manufacturer to offer a sophisticated BiTurbo engine on a seven-seat MPV," said Duncan Aldred, Vauxhall's Chairman and Managing Director. "It provides a perfect blend of high performance, impressive fuel economy and premium class quality in a seven-seat layout."

The Zafira Tourer BiTurbo will be available in SE, SRi or Elite trims with a range of options including FlexRide adaptive chassis control system, AFL adaptive forward lighting system and a panoramic windscreen.

Prices will start from £27,685 on-the-road (OTR).

Order books are open now with the first Zafira Tourer BiTurbo models due to arrive in showrooms in the spring.

Renault has released the first pictures of the new Scenic XMOD crossover ahead of its debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show next month.

The Scenic XMOD will replace the Scenic and while it retains the same genetic make-up and practicalities, it now combines the 'outdoor cues of a crossover with the refined world of an MPV'.

"With raised ground clearance and special alloy wheels, the car features an expressive crossover-inspired design: special front and rear bumpers, sill guards and chrome-finish roof bars across the range," Renault said.

"The new front end is also more expressive, incorporating our new design identity and signature LED daytime running lights."

In addition it comes with the 'innovative' Grip Xtend traction control system and the choice of three new engines, including a brand-new TCe 130 Stop &amp; Start engine, boasting a 15 per cent improvement on fuel consumption over the previous TCe 130 unit, equivalent to a combined-cycle saving of more than 1 litre/100km.

Meanwhile, to mark the launch of the new Scenic XMOD, the Grand Scenic has also been given a facelift and it will also premiere in Geneva.

<title>Hyundai in Which? best value success</title>
         <link>http://www.allvehiclecontracts.co.uk/Newsroom/Article.aspx?title=Hyundai_in_Which?_best_value_success</link>
<description xml:space="preserve">Easy to see Hyundai is the brand that stands out the most in terms of overall value - Which?

Hyundai models have taken top honours in three out of five popular classes ranking value-for-money in the annual Which? Car Survey.

Delivering a product that is good value for money means much more than just purchase cost. The overall ownership package - quality, efficiency, servicing, specification and safety - all represent key criteria when looking at true value.

The Hyundai i10, ix20 and ix35 led the way in each of their respective categories, with owners awarding high marks for overall value when looking at aspects such as purchase price, standard equipment and running costs.

"True value is at the core of all our products and the results from the Which? Car Survey reflects this. We are delighted that the readers, and our customers, hold the Hyundai brand in such high regard," said Tony Whitehorn, President and CEO, Hyundai Motor UK.

"With the current economic situation, people are looking for cars that are affordable to purchase and run, but which are also desirable both inside and out. Hyundai's updated model range fulfils these requirements and demonstrates our commitment to providing customers with the best overall package of ownership."

Richard Headland, Acting Editor, Which? magazine, added: "The Which? Car Survey is the UK's biggest with more than 39,292 people responding about 47,716 cars they own. It gives owners a chance to provide their views on how reliable and satisfying their cars have been over the preceding 12 months across several key areas and it is easy to see that Hyundai is the brand that stands out the most in terms of overall value for money."

         <title>AVC plan launch of www.justexfleetcars.co.uk</title>
         <link>http://www.allvehiclecontracts.co.uk/Newsroom/Article.aspx?title=AVC_plan_launch_of_www.justexfleetcars.co.uk</link>
<description xml:space="preserve">100's of Late Used Cars feature on New Online Quotation Site

We have been busy. Really busy.
Not only are we managing www.allvehiclecontracts.co.uk and www.autobuddy.com , we have recently introduced our "just" family of websites - each one is designed to provide live quotations for a particular niche.
For example, we have www.justmercedesleasing.co.uk, www.justaudileasing.co.uk and now we are planning the launch of www.justexfleetcars.co.uk.
www.justexfleetcars.co.uk will feature 100's of ex-fleet and late used quality cars that have been hand-picked from our Main Dealers, Finance Companies and Rental Fleet Disposal Teams nationwide.
All of the cars listed on www.justexfleetcars.co.uk will represent true value for money, as not only will they be cheaper to buy outright than new car stock, but they will also be available to quote online. As many cars will be VAT Qualifying, this means that the user will even be able to quote on business contract hire options.
Our MD Chris Mountford explains;
"The vehicles that we will be featuring on this site will have the obvious advantage of being available immediately, so no more waiting for allocations or build slots.
Cars range from just 1 month old to 3 years, and all will come with a comprehensive warranty and quality assurance from some of the best known car providers in the industry.
The vehicles that become available after their life as a lease car are very often built to a good specification and have been looked after and serviced in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines.
To be honest, we felt that this sort of stock should be shared with the general public and business user rather than reserved for specialist auctions. Our existing supplying partners have been very happy to give us exclusive access to their comprehensive databases of vehicles that come up for sale."
Chris was also keen to point out that the technology that we have developed is unique to All Vehicle Contracts Limited - all data is compiled in house, and vehicles are updated regularly to enable a display of the kind that is just not seen on competitor's websites;
"You can actually configure a quotation using your own deposit, term, mileage per annum and finance option. In short, AVC websites aren't just special offer displays. They offer the user the chance to interact online and change the quotation instantly from the same screen to compare different components.
Our technology allows buyers to "cut out the middle man" when buying a used car at wholesale prices - they can literally save £1000s. What's more, all cars are appraised in accordance with BVRLA (British Vehicle Rental &amp; Leasing Association) Fair Wear and Tear guidelines.
We also offer nationwide delivery, and as you can start the process by browsing the stock online and configuring a quotation to suit your circumstance, the process is quick and easy to arrange.
After all, who wants to trail around car supermarkets when they can see what's available - and how much it will cost them - from the comfort of their own home?"
Like we always say, watch this space for details of when we go live - we will keep you posted!

<title>Citroen Berlingo Electrique to debut at CV Show</title>
         <link>http://www.allvehiclecontracts.co.uk/Newsroom/Article.aspx?title=Citroen_Berlingo_Electrique_to_debut_at_CV_Show</link>
<description xml:space="preserve">To go on sale in the UK in the second half of the year

Citroen will launch its all-new Berlingo Electrique van at this year's Commercial Vehicle Show at the NEC in April, it has been announced.

This 100 percent electric van will build upon Citroen's 'unrivalled' experience of electric LCVs in the UK, which was gained with the first generation Berlingo Electrique launched in 1998.

"The new, well equipped Berlingo Electrique incorporates the latest electric vehicle technology," Citroen said in its pre-launch release. "The electric motor is positioned under the bonnet and the lithium-ion battery pack is located underneath the vehicle's load deck. This means the load compartment of up to 3.7m3and payload of 636kg is equivalent to that of a similar diesel-powered Berlingo van."

With a total battery capacity of 22.5kWh, the Berlingo Electrique will have a range of up to 106 miles.

Using a domestic socket, the vehicle can be fully charged in around 8.5 hours or, alternatively, it can be charged to 80 percent of capacity in only 35 minutes using a specific 380V three-phase terminal in quick-charge mode.

The Berlingo Electrique's permanent magnet synchronous electric motor produces 49kW (67hp) and has a peak torque rating of 200Nm.

Full UK specification and pricing will be announced closer to the CV Show.

Scott Michael, Citroen's Head of Commercial Vehicles &amp; Business Centre Programme, commented: "With the launch of the new Berlingo Electrique, Citroen is able to offer businesses the widest range of innovative environmental transport solutions. When the Berlingo Electrique goes on UK sale in the second half of the year, Citroen will be able to offer businesses a unique choice of no less than five LCV driveline and fuel choices, including petrol, dual fuel (petrol/LPG), HDi diesel, e-HDi micro-hybrid and full electric."

<title>Audi R8 secures Sporting Car of the Year honour again</title>
         <link>http://www.allvehiclecontracts.co.uk/Newsroom/Article.aspx?title=Audi_R8_secures_Sporting_Car_of_the_Year_honour_again</link>
<description xml:space="preserve">Fourth win in a row for the recently reworked supercar in the annual BusinessCar Awards

The Audi R8 remains the executive's sports car of choice according to the readers of BusinessCar Magazine, who voted it Sporting Car of the Year for the fourth successive year in the 2013 BusinessCar Awards last month.

Readers of the fleet-focused magazine and its website have yet again singled out the R8 as a favourite on the strength of its everyday usability and firmly established desirability amongst top level company car drivers.

Paul Barker, Editor at BusinessCar Magazine, explained why the R8 is a regular leader in this category: "Though most business cars are chosen with the head, brand image is becoming increasingly influential in the large population of company drivers able to choose their own car, and that's where the Audi R8 has a crucial role to play in showing Audi's sporting prowess and emotional appeal.

"This award shows the desire Audi has created for its products, and this kind of desirability sweeps across the range when business car drivers are selecting their next company car - even if they can't afford something as fabulous as an R8!"

James Douglas, Head of Fleet Sales at Audi UK, added: "The R8 has proven itself to be a fantastic all-rounder many times and, as this highly-valued award shows, its breadth of talent extends well beyond the realms of the supercar that is only suitable for weekend use. For the R8 to receive this coveted award not once, but four times in as many years is a great achievement."

Meanwhile, the all-new Audi A3 Sportback was also recognised in the awards for the 'significant advances in efficiency, quality and driver appeal' it now brings to company car drivers - its transformation was enough to secure it third place overall in the Business Car of the Year category.

Barker stated: "An impressive weight loss programme has helped make the A3 more nimble and fun to drive than its predecessor, and has also helped lower emissions, while the cabin quality, always an Audi strength, is even better than ever."

<title>Nissan Qashqai named Crossover of the Year</title>
         <link>http://www.allvehiclecontracts.co.uk/Newsroom/Article.aspx?title=Nissan_Qashqai_named_Crossover_of_the_Year</link>
<description xml:space="preserve">130PS 1.6-litre dCi Qashqai with 62.8mpg and just 119g/km CO2 singled out for praise

Nissan has won the inaugural 2013 BusinessCar award for Crossover of the Year.

Built at Nissan's plant in Sunderland, the Qashqai was recognised in a sector it pioneered, earning acclaim from BusinessCar magazine for 'its distinctive looks' and 'a drive that surpasses expectations'.

Further praise was lavished on Nissan for keeping the Qashqai fresh with a series of updates, notably the introduction of the 130PS 1.6-litre diesel option that now provides 62.8mpg and just 119g/km CO2 to offer a greener and more cost-effective solution for fleets.

In 2012 the Qashqai continued to be a strong seller in the fleet market with sales of 27,865, which accounted for 50 percent of Nissan's total car fleet sales.

Jon Pollock, Nissan's Corporate Sales Director said: "We're delighted to win the inaugural BusinessCar Crossover of the Year award.

"The Qashqai has been a strong seller to fleets and residuals have remained strong, a trend we expect to continue through 2013 as fleets recognise the growing size and attractiveness of this sector."

Nissan recently launched the Qashqai 360 which promises to be the best-selling example yet of the sector-defining crossover. Starting at £19,945 on-the-road (OTR), the Qashqai 360 includes Nissan Connect with 360 degree Around View Monitor to aid parking and reversing.

         <link>http://www.allvehiclecontracts.co.uk/Newsroom/Article.aspx?title=MINI_on_top_for_eleventh_year_in_BusinessCar_Awards</link>
<description xml:space="preserve">MINI Hatch does it again

The MINI Hatch has been named 'Supermini of the Year' for the eleventh consecutive year by BusinessCar magazine, it has been confirmed.

The BusinessCar Awards are the only honours in the company car and van industry that are solely voted for by the readership, which makes them the most influential in the business car arena.

MINI continued to impress readers, with its unique combination of great design, low running costs, low CO2 emissions and exceptionally strong residual values contributing to its repeated success.

"MINI's combination of brand prestige and fun-to-drive character with efficiency and residual values that lead to unbeatable running costs mean it's no surprise that the car has now held onto BusinessCar's Supermini of the Year award for an eleventh year," said BusinessCar Editor Paul Barker.

"It is a huge achievement, and illustrates the massive appeal in the corporate sector for a car with the qualities that the business car market relies on."

Efficiency has never been more important for business customers, and MINI's 'acclaimed' MINIMALISM technologies are fitted as standard on Cooper, Cooper D, Cooper S, Cooper SD and John Cooper Works models, employing a 'host' of fuel-saving and emission-lowering technologies.

Brake Energy Regeneration, Auto Start-Stop, Gearshift Indicator and Electromechanical Power Steering are among the key MINIMALISM technologies, ensuring CO2 emissions on the MINI Hatch for example, start from just 99g/km on the MINI Cooper D.

         <title>Aston Martin Rapide S revealed</title>
         <link>http://www.allvehiclecontracts.co.uk/Newsroom/Article.aspx?title=Aston_Martin_Rapide_S_revealed</link>
<description xml:space="preserve">"Rapide S is the most powerful four-door Aston Martin to date..."

The stunning new Aston Martin Rapide S made its debut at the end of last month.

The British car maker's new luxury GT has been 'sympathetically' re-designed and 'painstakingly' re-engineered to 'reassert its position as the world's most beautiful, and beautifully balanced, four-seat sports car.'

"Aside from the extensive design and engineering improvements, the luxurious new Rapide S - which replaces the outgoing Rapide in markets worldwide - is now even more refined thanks to a range of additions to the four-seater's sumptuous interior," Aston Martin said.

It also now boasts "an imposing and assertive new 'face', created by virtue of the impressive and striking new full grille."

It will be powered by the new AM11 naturally-aspirated 6.0-litre V12 engine, which is up to 17 percent more powerful than the engine its replaces. This means the 0-62 mph time is cut from 5.2 seconds to 4.9 seconds, while top speed is increased to 190mph.

Despite this improvement though, the Rapide S is more economical than before: "CO2 emissions drop by seven percent - from 355 g/km to 332 g/km - while fuel economy now stands at 19.9 mpg on the official EU combined cycle," Aston Martin claims.

Meanwhile, the Rapide S benefits from the latest Gen4 iteration of Aston Martin's 'hi-tech' Adaptive Damping System (ADS), which has three settings: 'Normal', 'Sport' and 'Track'.

"The Rapide S is to me, without doubt, the most beautiful four-door sports car on the market today. This is, very clearly, the power of luxury in action," said Aston Martin Chief Executive Officer, Dr Ulrich Bez. "The car's stunning visual appeal is now matched by a much more powerful and yet more efficient engine - our exceptional new AM11 V12 - which increases massively both the excitement and performance potential of the Rapide S.

"It is a four-door sports car that uniquely combines luxury, style and sporting excitement in Aston Martin's most flexible and accommodating silhouette. Purity of proportion and exceptional elegance are mixed with truly sensational dynamic performance - this is the four-door sports car in its most versatile form and I am sure our customers around the world are going to love it!"

It is due to go on sale this month. Pricing has still to be confirmed. We will keep you posted.

In the meantime, however, you can check it out in 'real life' and see it in the 'flesh' in the Cinema section - just search for 'Rapide S'. Why not let us know what you think of it too and drop us a line via our official Facebook and Twitter pages. We'd love to hear from you, so get writing - now...!

         <title>Mazda CX-5 claims Total 4x4 Green Award</title>
         <link>http://www.allvehiclecontracts.co.uk/Newsroom/Article.aspx?title=Mazda_CX-5_claims_Total_4x4_Green_Award</link>
<description xml:space="preserve">Thanks to SKYACTIV technology, CX-5 compact SUV boasts CO2 emissions from 119g/km

The Mazda CX-5 compact SUV has been selected by Total 4x4 magazine as winner of the monthly publication's '4x4 of the Year Green Award' based on a continuous testing programme throughout 2012, it has been announced.

In January's issue of the industry-renowned publication a panel of respected motoring writers praised the Mazda CX-5 for delivering excellent efficiency without compromising driving pleasure or practicality, thanks to its unique fuel-stretching SKYACTIV technology.

Explaining the judging panel's decision, Total 4x4 Editor, Alan Kidd, commented: "People who want a 4x4 that is cheap to run are spoilt for choice these days. But what makes the Mazda CX-5 stand out for us is that by making the most of traditional engineering, Mazda has created a vehicle whose other qualities are completely uncompromised. This is an SUV that is both easy and enjoyable to drive, strong on 'safety' and practicality, good looking and excellent value.

"There are vehicles out there whose fuel efficiency is achieved at the expense of interior space or drivability, and they can come across as one-trick ponies as a result. With the Mazda CX-5, efficiency is built in - it doesn't feel like it is busting a gut to try and be greener than rival models, which is what makes it such a good real-world way of driving a low-carbon 4x4."

The latest award for the Mazda CX-5 follows four accolades for Mazda's SUV and its unique SKYACTIV technology - the 2013 What Car? UItra-low-carbon Award, the 2012 What Car? 'Best Buy' SUV award in the under £25,000 category, the 2012 What Car? Green SUV Award and the 2012 SCOTY (Scottish Car of the Year) Safety Award.

"I am delighted that Total 4x4 magazine has acknowledged the truly unique fuel-saving SKYACTIV technology found in the Mazda CX-5 enabling Mazda to create a compact-SUV which retains all the fun-to-drive qualities for which our brand is famous, while also delivering best-in-class levels of fuel economy and remarkably low emissions," added Peter Allibon, Sales Director, Mazda UK.

"Whichever model customers ultimately choose, they can be assured that the Mazda CX-5 makes a genuinely compelling and rewarding ownership proposition. The Mazda CX-5 offers buyers the rarest of combinations - high specifications, attractive pricing, unusually low running costs and excellent residuals - plus a rewarding drive, outstanding fuel economy and 'green award' winning environmental credentials."

         <link>http://www.allvehiclecontracts.co.uk/Newsroom/Article.aspx?title=Mercedes-Benz_UK_recognises_top_retailer_performances_of_2012</link>
<description xml:space="preserve">Retailer of the Year announced

Mercedes-Benz UK recently honoured its top-performing retailer partners at the 2012 Retailer of the Year Awards in Birmingham.

Mercedes-Benz operates a regional retail model - known as 'market areas'. These market areas consist of several sites operated by a partner company.

The retailers were measured on a number of performance indicators, including sales performance and customer satisfaction levels as well as the commitment they showed to the brand and the support they provide to Mercedes-Benz UK. Retailers really had to excel in every way.

The coveted accolade of both Mercedes-Benz Retailer of the Year and Service and Parts Team of the Year were awarded to the market area covering Glasgow - operated by franchise partner Pendragon PLC.

Jim Robertson, Market Area Director said: "We are delighted to have been named not only Retailer of the Year, but also Parts and Service Team of the Year as well. It has been a real team effort with a focus on our customers and the service we offer them. This is a great boost for the team at the start of what is going to be another busy year with more new products and we look forward to serving our customers, both old and new."

Marcus Breitschwerdt, President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz UK added: "2012 was a record-breaking year for Mercedes-Benz in the UK. We couldn't have done it without the support, commitment and dedication of each and every colleague working with our retailer partners around the country. We have celebrated our success and now we are setting our sights firmly on 2013."

Listers, which operates Mercedes-Benz retailers in the North East of England, took the award for Sales Team of the Year, and the Customer Service Team of the Year was awarded to the market area that covers retailers based in and around Wolverhampton and Stoke.

         <title>Ford in BusinessCar Awards double</title>
         <link>http://www.allvehiclecontracts.co.uk/Newsroom/Article.aspx?title=Ford_in_BusinessCar_Awards_double</link>
         <description xml:space="preserve">Focus and S-MAX deliver for Ford

Ford has claimed double success in the 2013 BusinessCar Awards, with the Focus winning Car of the Year in its sector and the S-MAX taking the MPV honours.

The new Ford B-MAX meanwhile was runner-up in the overall Car of the Year category.

It is the seventh award in as many years for the Ford S-MAX, as judged by BusinessCar's magazine and website readers.

"Ford's double BusinessCar Awards win illustrates the excellent job Ford is doing to serve the business car community, especially in the crucial lower medium segment where Focus excels, and it beat some strong premium competition to the prize," said BusinessCar editor Paul Barker.

"The peerless S-MAX is now a seven-time BusinessCar Award winner, and the new B-MAX shows the breadth and fleet appeal of Ford's line-up, taking second place in our overall headline Car of the Year category."

BusinessCar says the lower medium category is one of the 'most hotly contested'. Of the victorious Ford Focus it adds: "No stranger to praise, Ford Focus is the kind of car that does everything well. Ever since the original arrived in 1998, it's always been the drivers' choice within the non-premium lower medium sector for its sharp handling and tidy ride. Since then, Focus has become more and more grown up and now has one of the most technologically advanced cabins in the business."

Phil Hollins, Ford Britain fleet director, added: "The results of the BusinessCar Awards are always keenly anticipated because they are the only awards decided by the industry's customers themselves.

"That S-MAX has won its seventh accolade speaks for itself, and we believe that the success enjoyed by the Focus is a ringing endorsement of Ford's fleet favourite."

Hyundai's new generation Santa Fe was named as the safest car in its class by Euro NCAP last month.

Its scores across all test categories in 2012 were best-in-class, making it one of the safest vehicles ever tested by the independent vehicle assessment organisation and the best in the 'Large Off-Road 4x4' segment - ahead of the Mercedes-Benz M-Class and Range Rover.

Allan Rushforth, Senior Vice President and COO of Hyundai Motor Europe, commented: "Having the New Generation Santa Fe recommended by Euro NCAP as the safest car in its class demonstrates Hyundai's commitment to the safety of its customers and other road users.

"The car's inherent safety combined with low CO2, high levels of equipment and emotional design make the New Generation Santa Fe the complete package for European buyers."

         <title>Vauxhall reveals pricing for Cascada</title>
         <link>http://www.allvehiclecontracts.co.uk/Newsroom/Article.aspx?title=Vauxhall_reveals_pricing_for_Cascada</link>
         <description xml:space="preserve">Prices to start from £23,995 on-the-road

Vauxhall has announced pricing and specification for its new full-size, four-seat convertible, the Cascada.

Due to arrive in UK showrooms this April, it will be priced from £23,995 on-the-road - nearly £8,000 less than its main rival in the premium drop-top sector: "With the Audi A5 Cabriolet firmly in its sights, the Cascada offers affordability paired with outstanding levels of equipment, technology and luxury," Vauxhall said.

It will come in two trims, with the entry level SE offering 18 inch alloy wheels, a sports chassis, LED tail lamps and aux-in/USB, all as standard. The up-level Elite includes leather trim, heated front seats and steering wheel and front fog lamps.

Meanwhile in terms of powerplants there is a 'broad range of powerful and efficient engines' to choose from. Starting the line-up is a 1.4-litre (140PS) Turbo petrol, with a manual gearbox, achieving a combined 44.8mpg and 148g/km CO2, and a 2.0-litre (165PS) diesel engine with manual and automatic transmissions, achieving up to 54.3mpg combined and 138g/km CO2.

However the 'highlight' of Cascada's powertrain line-up is the all-new 1.6 SIDI Turbo ECOTEC petrol engine. The first production engine from Vauxhall's MGE (Mid-Size Gasoline Engine) family, the unit offers 'major' improvements in torque, linearity and overall efficiency. It produces a maximum 170PS from 1650-3200rpm and up to 280Nm of torque, giving a 0-60mph time of 9.2 seconds and top speed of 135mph. This engine will be available with a new, low-friction automatic six-speed gearbox that contributes towards combined fuel consumption of 39.2mpg and CO2 emissions of 168g/km.

A high-performance 2.0 (195PS) Bi-Turbo diesel engine with manual transmission will also be available shortly after launch. The Bi-Turbo achieves a combined 138g/km and 54.3mpg, yet accelerates from 0-60mph in just 8.9 seconds up to a top speed of 143mph.

Available in ten colours, Cascada can be ordered with solid, two-coat metallic or two-coat pearlescent paint, and a choice of three roof colours, depending on exterior colour.

<description xml:space="preserve">R-Line to offer more luxury for less - Volkswagen

Volkswagen has confirmed the introduction of an even more 'sumptuous' version of its upmarket Touareg SUV, the new Touareg R-Line.

Based on the already well-equipped Touareg Altitude, the Touareg R-Line adds extra equipment and unique R-Line styling cues, together worth over £4,000, for a premium of just £750.

"The Touareg R-Line sits on 20-inch 'Tarragona' alloy wheels with 275/45 R20 tyres, while the distinctive front and rear bumpers and side skirts give an even more purposeful look, added to by R-Line badges on the front wings," VW explained. "Standard bi-xenon headlights with dynamic curve lighting and LED daytime running lights give the R-Line driver a commanding view of the road, and are complemented by LED rear lights and number-plate lights.

"Stepping into the cabin - over the bespoke R-Line sill plates - both passengers and drivers will appreciate the extra light which floods into the spacious cabin through the standard full-length panoramic electric sliding glass sunroof."

Also standard is keyless entry and start and an electrically powered tailgate that makes for easy loading and unloading.

Like every Touareg, the R-Line also comes with leather upholstery, a satellite navigation and audio system with eight-inch full-colour touchscreen, DAB, Bluetooth and MDI multi-device interface for iPods, 2Zone climate control, a Stop/Start system and battery regeneration, to help maximise fuel efficiency.

The Touareg R-Line is available now with an eight-speed automatic gearbox paired to a 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine with either 204 PS, for £44,025 RRP OTR, or 245 PS, for £45,645 RRP OTR.

         <title>New Audi RS 7 Sportback revealed</title>
         <link>http://www.allvehiclecontracts.co.uk/Newsroom/Article.aspx?title=New_Audi_RS_7_Sportback_revealed</link>
<description xml:space="preserve">UK order books to open in the summer

The new Audi RS 7 Sportback made its world debut this month at the North American International Motor Show in Detroit.

Billed as the 'most sporting Audi sportback of all', it combines 'seductive curves with slingshot performance'.

"The newcomer uses twin-turbo V8 power to send its acceleration time plunging to just 3.9 seconds and its top speed climbing to 189mph," Audi said. "It also employs advanced cylinder-on-demand technology to ensure that economy holds true to Audi efficiency ambitions, with up to 28.8mpg possible despite the ferocious pace."

Available to order in the summer of 2013 priced in the region of £84,000 on-the-road (OTR), and due in the UK towards the end of the year, the RS 7 Sportback shares its 4.0-litre V8 TFSI engine with the recently announced RS 6 Avant.

Meanwhile, numerous RS-specific design details 'subtly embellish the body without detracting from its elegantly tapering lines': "Most noticeable are the matt titanium applications, the high gloss black honeycomb radiator grille, exclusive bumper design and, at the rear, a diffuser and two large, elliptical exhaust tailpipes," Audi added.

"In common with the other members of the A7 Sportback range, the RS 7 Sportback is also pinned more securely to the road by an electrically extending rear spoiler providing additional downforce."

Nine exterior colours, including the new Nardo Grey and the exclusive Daytona Grey matte, will be available, along with two optional exterior design packages - Matt Aluminium or Carbon - which give the RS 7 Sportback an 'even more distinctive stance'.

Inside the interior of the RS 7 Sportback conveys the 'sporting theme with similar subtlety', but leaves passengers in no doubt that they are travelling in a 'very special Audi flagship'.

         <link>http://www.allvehiclecontracts.co.uk/Newsroom/Article.aspx?title=Mercedes-Benz_E_300_BlueTEC_Hybrid_hailed</link>
<description xml:space="preserve">E 300 BlueTEC Hybrid triumphs in Business Car Manager SME Company Car of the Year Awards

The new Mercedes-Benz E 300 BlueTEC Hybrid triumphed in the Business Car Manager SME Company Car of the Year Awards 2012 earlier this month, winning two categories including Best Overall Company Car for SMEs.

Judged by a panel of industry leaders chaired by Phil Orford, Chief Executive of the Forum of Private Business, the E 300 BlueTEC Hybrid was voted Best Company Car for SME Directors and Best Overall Company Car for SMEs.

Ralph Morton, Business Car Manager Editor, said: "The new Mercedes-Benz E 300 BlueTEC Hybrid brings a new dynamic to the SME Company Car Market. There's all the prestige of the three-pointed star, incredible shove-you-down-the-road performance, plenty of space, yet a benefit-in-kind company car tax rating that would make the taxman wince. It was a clear winner with all our judges. And the only car to do so."

The SME Company Car of the Year awards, presented by Business Car Manager in association with MAGMA Automotive Services, are designed to highlight the best company cars and car support programmes available to SMEs in the market.

Nick Andrews, Head of Fleet for Mercedes-Benz UK, added: "This is a fantastic win for our first diesel-electric vehicle. The E 300 BlueTEC Hybrid generates just 109 grams of CO2 per kilometre, with a combined fuel economy of 67.3 mpg, as proved in our real-world driving eco challenge, so it really is an exciting company car."

Priced from £39,645 on-the-road (OTR), the E 300 BlueTEC Hybrid is, Mercedes-Benz says, the 'most efficient E-Class production car', and it also features an advanced diesel-electric hybrid system that allows for electric-only drive. Standard equipment includes 17-inch alloy wheels - 16-inch wheels can be fitted as a no-cost option to achieve the lowest possible CO2 and economy figures. Also included is leather upholstery, Becker Map Pilot Navigation and LED daytime running lights.

<title>Vauxhall Ampera secures BusinessCar Eco Award</title>
         <link>http://www.allvehiclecontracts.co.uk/Newsroom/Article.aspx?title=Vauxhall_Ampera_secures_BusinessCar_Eco_Award</link>
<description xml:space="preserve">Business Car magazine's readers select the Ampera as their 2013 Green Model of Year

Vauxhall's Ampera extended range electric car has won its first major honour of 2013, the Green Model of the Year category of the 2013 Business Car Awards, it was announced last week.

This headline award was voted for by Business Car magazine's readers who chose the best products and services for businesses.

"The Vauxhall Ampera is a genuinely revolutionary piece of technological development, and it is no surprise that the readers of Business Car chose it as their Green Model of the Year," said Paul Barker, Editor of Business Car.

"In the right usage pattern, the Ampera can make a massive difference to a driver's fuel bills, and with the company car tax and National Insurance benefits of such an ultra-low emission vehicle, it is clear to see why it is a winner."

"Ampera is a technological masterpiece and we are very pleased that it has been recognised by the readers of Business Car magazine," added Duncan Aldred, Vauxhall's Chairman and Managing Director.

The Ampera arrived in UK showrooms last year and has a real-world battery range of between 25-50 miles, after which a small range-extender motor intervenes to provide up to an additional 300-plus mile range.

Pricing for the Ampera starts at £29,995 on-the-road (OTR) - including the £5,000 UK government grant.

<description xml:space="preserve">3 Series grabs top gong

The BMW 3-series has been named BusinessCar Magazine's 2013 Car of the Year, it was announced last week.

The 3-series triumphed in the headline award ahead of the second-placed Ford B-MAX, with Audi's A3 voted into third place.

BMW meanwhile also collected the Manufacturer of the Year title and two car category victories.

"BMW is still at the head of the industry when it comes to vehicle efficiency, driving dynamics, running costs and vehicle desirability, all of which are crucial to the business car market," said BusinessCar Editor Paul Barker.

"It is no surprise to see the new BMW 3-series follow in the wheeltracks of the 1-series, which took the 2012 Business Car of the Year award, and it shows that those people operating fleets of vehicles understand and appreciate the job BMW is doing."

         <title>Nissan Leaf price slashed</title>
         <link>http://www.allvehiclecontracts.co.uk/Newsroom/Article.aspx?title=Nissan_Leaf_price_slashed</link>
         <description xml:space="preserve">Price reduced by £2500

The price of the all-electric Nissan Leaf is to be cut by £2500, it was announced last week.

The change comes as part of a 'global effort' by Nissan to make the Leaf 'more affordable' in the pioneering electric vehicle's three main markets of Japan, Europe and the United States.

The new price is effective immediately and comes ahead of the arrival of an updated version of the Leaf. The reduction is also on top of the incentive offered by the government and means the price of a brand new Leaf in the UK is now £23,490 on-the-road, or just £239 per month.

"There is no doubt that Nissan Leaf is a revolution and existing customers are passionate in their belief that zero-emission mobility is not the future, but is here now," said Paul Willcox, senior vice president, Nissan Europe.

"Nissan's objective for Leaf has always been to bring zero-emission mobility within reach of the mass-market. Our price reduction underlines that commitment and with no price premium even more motorists will become believers."

Meanwhile, production of the updated Leaf is due to start at Nissan's European plant in Sunderland, UK, in the spring.

<title>SEAT wins What Car? Best MPV award</title>
         <link>http://www.allvehiclecontracts.co.uk/Newsroom/Article.aspx?title=SEAT_wins_What_Car?_Best_MPV_award</link>
<description xml:space="preserve">Alhambra retains Best MPV gong for third year in a row

What Car? crowned the SEAT Alhambra its best MPV for the third year running this month, lauding it as a 'fantastic all-round package'.

At a glitzy ceremony at London's Grosvenor House Hotel, the 'amazingly practical' MPV once again saw off the competition to become the people carrier that What Car? recommends most highly.

It is the 2.0 TDI CR 140 Ecomotive S model specifically that takes the prize, which is priced at £25,035 RRP on-the-road (OTR) and boasts CO2 emissions of just 146 g/km with fuel consumption of 50.4 mpg combined.

What Car? Editor-in-chief Chas Hallett explained exactly why the Alhambra took first place, calling it 'a fantastic all-round package', 'roomy enough for seven adults', 'good value for money, powerful and economical to run'.

SEAT UK Managing Director Peter Wyhinny added: "With the quality of the competition in the MPV sector, we certainly weren't complacent about winning a third What Car? Best MPV award in a row - but we were quietly confident, given how many awards the Alhambra has already won.

"That the Alhambra is still top of the pile is a testament to its outstanding qualities and appeal as an overall package. As the What Car? experts have again recognised, the Alhambra offers family buyers an irresistible mix of performance, practicality and price.

"This is the twelfth award that the Alhambra has picked up in the UK, following its Auto Express Best MPV prize in 2012. That's an amazing achievement - but hopefully this is not the last prize we'll put in the Alhambra's trophy cabinet."

<title>New Maserati Quattroporte debuts in Detroit</title>
         <link>http://www.allvehiclecontracts.co.uk/Newsroom/Article.aspx?title=New_Maserati_Quattroporte_debuts_in_Detroit</link>
<description xml:space="preserve">First UK deliveries due this summer

The new Maserati Quattroporte was officially unveiled last week at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

As the flagship of the Maserati product range, the sixth-generation Quattroporte is larger, lighter, more luxurious and more practical than the globally-acclaimed car it replaces. Furthermore with a 307 km/h (191 mph) top speed, it is also as fast as most two-door supercars.

It will be powered by a newly-developed direct-injection engine family boasting a 3.8-litre V8 and a 3.0-litre V6, both of which are twin-turbocharged, designed by Maserati Powertrain and assembled by Ferrari at its plant in Maranello.

All versions come equipped with the latest eight-speed automatic transmission developed with ZF.

The V8 is capable of powering it from 0-62 mph in 4.7 seconds and on to a top speed 307km/h (191mph). The V6 in contrast can go from 0-62mph in 4.9 seconds with a top speed of 285 km/h (177 mph).

Fuel consumption and emissions meanwhile have been improved by 20 percent over the outgoing Quattroporte, Maserati claims.

Other changes see leg and shoulder room and boot space increased, thanks to a longer wheel base, while inside new cabin features include WiFi WLAN hotspot, 15 speaker, 1280 Watt Bowers and Wilkins premium surround system and a 8.4 inch Maserati Touch Control screen.

UK prices will start at £80,070 for the V6 and £108,125 for the V8, with first deliveries taking place during the summer.

         <title>Renault Captur revealed</title>
         <link>http://www.allvehiclecontracts.co.uk/Newsroom/Article.aspx?title=Renault_Captur_revealed</link>
<description xml:space="preserve">'The urban crossover that will change everyday lives...' - Renault

Renault unveiled the production version of its 'first urban crossover', Captur, this month.

Based on the same platform as the new Clio, Captur was displayed in Concept form at the Geneva Motor Show in 2011. The production version will now be officially launched at this year's Geneva Motor Show in March.

"Captur will stand out from the crowd by delivering the best of three different worlds," Renault says, "the expressive styling and driving position of an SUV, the cabin space and modular interior of an MPV, and the agility and driving enjoyment of a compact hatchback."

"Captur's smooth, fluid, balanced forms express an assertive, yet unostentatious,
personality," Renault adds. "Its robust, upmarket look takes its inspiration from the Captur concept car, from which Renault has carried over both the spirit which guided its design, as well its evocative name.

"The lines of Renault's new crossover are unpretentious, yet the forward position of its steeply-raked windscreen emphasises its dynamic stance. The combination of its compact dimensions, raised ground clearance, wide wheels and sill guards will enable it to take every aspect of everyday motoring in its stride."

The Captur will apparently be easy to customise and will come with an original two-tone colour scheme which produces an attractive contrast between the roof and pillars and the rest of the bodywork.

Standard equipment will include hands-free entry, hill start assist and rear parking sensors. Also available will be the new, connected, in-dash Renault R-Link touchscreen multimedia tablet, plus a system that comprises six loudspeakers, Bluetooth connectivity, audio-streaming and Arkamys hi-fi sound.

Meanwhile, the petrol and diesel engines offered will benefit from the 'very latest Renault technologies' and will return 'best-in-class fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, starting from as low as 96g/km'.

Captur will go on sale in the UK in June. Pricing and specification has still to be confirmed. We will keep you informed.

<description xml:space="preserve">After the success of www.justmercedesleasing.co.uk, All Vehicle Contracts Ltd plan new Audi specialist leasing site.

As you may already be well familiar with, our pioneering technology has allowed us to offer users instant, online customisable quotations on all of their websites.
For many years, www.autobuddy.com and www.allvehiclecontracts.co.uk has been a popular destination for 100's of businesses and retail clients throughout the UK when choosing their next leased vehicle.
The recent introduction of www.justmercedesleasing.co.uk has proved so popular with those of you who are specifically looking for a great deal on "just Mercedes" we have decided to start a whole "just" portfolio - the next one being www.justaudileasing.co.uk.

Executive marques such as Audi require a lot of thought when collating the specifications, options, packs and smaller (but crucial) details such as trim options and colours.
One of the features that has proved very popular with our users is the Stock feature. We will be featuring an up to date stock selection of actual, physical, vehicles, which you will be able to quote instantly on. After all, what's the point of advertising a deal on a basic car if you can't get one for when you need it?
Along with stock we will also be advertising "coming soon" pipeline cars that can be tailor made to order and hopefully meet with your timeframe. If vehicles have to be registered by a certain date, we will tell you. It's that simple.
The deals that we will be showcasing on www.justaudileasing.co.uk will be collated from different UK Main Dealers that we work in conjunction with across the UK, and will feature exclusive leasing and finance deals that are not available anywhere else.
We will also have a selection of cars that are not available from central stock, making your choice even wider as we will be tapping into a select network of cars that may not be advertised elsewhere outside of that particular dealers' network, particularly online.
Managing Director, Chris Mountford, is very excited about the forthcoming Audi website, which we will keep you posted on. He says:
"First came www.justmercedesleasing.co.uk , and now www.justaudileasing.co.uk - we are planning to introduce a whole range for those people who are sick of trailing around online chasing deals - now we will offer a portal that guarantees great deals on what they are looking for, and at the same time, view cars that are available immediately!"

Watch out for our updates - and of course, don't forget in the meantime that you can log onto www.autobuddy.com and www.allvehiclecontracts.co.uk for instant quotes at any time of the day or night on the whole Audi range and call for stock availability.
Just Leasing. Just Audi. Just for You.

Proace has been developed in a new collaboration with PSA Peugeot Citroen as a replacement for the Toyota Hiace.

Production starts at the Sevelnord factory in northern France in April with UK sales scheduled to follow shortly afterwards.

Proace will be available in two lengths and heights, with load capacities of 5m3, 6m3 or 7m3. Payloads will range from one to 1.2 tonnes and Proace will be able to tow up to two tonnes. According to market, Euro 5 diesel engines with outputs from 89 to 161bhp will be offered.

In addition to its standard form, Proace can also be specified as a panel van, glass van, or six-seat crew cab.

The Smart ForTwo Electric Drive is now available to buy for the very first time, it was announced last week.

It follows successful trials of the previous two generation Smart ForTwo Electric Drive models, which were conducted across 18 markets and 2,000 customers.

Based on the Passion model line, the new version of the Smart ForTwo Electric Drive will arrive in the UK this spring.

It is powered by a 55kW magneto electric motor, allowing it to accelerate from 0-62 mph in 11.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 78 mph. An all-new, 17.6 kWh lithium-ion battery also features, which provides a range up to 90 miles.

Standard equipment includes: satellite navigation; air conditioning with pre-conditioning function; electric windows; two-spoke leather steering wheel; leather gear knob; electric power steering; 9-spoke 15 inch alloy wheels and a luggage compartment cover.

In addition to the standard solid roof, a panoramic roof and a cabrio version are also available.

Gary Savage, Managing Director, Mercedes-Benz Cars, commented: "The Smart ForTwo Electric Drive widens the appeal and accessibility of fun, zero-local-emissions motoring to new and existing enthusiasts of the Smart brand.

"With performance in line with many combustion-engine powered cars, the new Smart electric drive is as at home on the motorway as it is in an urban environment. It is now also a financially-viable alternative to a conventional vehicle thanks to its Plug-in Car Grant qualification and our unique sale&amp;care purchase options that represent excellent value and provide customers with ultimate peace-of-mind."

Prices will start from £12,275 on-the-road (OTR) plus a £55 per month battery lease when purchased through the 'sale&amp;care programme'. As an outright purchase, on-the-road prices start from £15,395.

<description xml:space="preserve">Urban SUV Concept makes its world debut in Detroit

The all-new Honda Urban SUV Concept made its world debut last week at the 2013 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

The concept apparently hints at 'the styling direction of an all-new small SUV' scheduled to be launched in Japan at the end of 2013 and in the USA in 2014. The model will also subsequently be introduced in Europe.

"The Urban SUV Concept represents the expansion of vehicles that will be based on Honda's new Global Compact Series platform, which include the Honda Fit (Jazz in Europe) and the Honda City," Honda said in a statement to the media.

"The Urban SUV Concept, designed to provide aesthetic cues for an all-new small SUV, showcases clean and sophisticated styling, dynamic lines and a strong stance.

"The small SUV will be rolled out across the world and will be powered by Honda's fuel-efficient Earth Dreams Technology.

"The new model will utilise Honda's original centre-tank layout that features on the Honda Jazz and will also incorporate Honda's famous Magic Seats that enable a range of seating configurations for maximum versatility."

The small SUV is due to be manufactured at Honda's newest North American plant near Celaya, Mexico.

         <link>http://www.allvehiclecontracts.co.uk/Newsroom/Article.aspx?title=Vauxhall_Adam_production_begins</link>
<description xml:space="preserve">Over 16,000 orders received from around Europe for Adam

Vauxhall celebrated the official start of production of its new premium city car, Adam, earlier this month.

Steve Girsky, GM's Vice Chairman and GM Europe's President, declared that the first Adam off the line at its plant in Esenach, Germany marked a 'new era' for Vauxhall and sister company, Opel.

Officially unveiled at the Paris Motor Show last September, Adam is being billed as the 'most flexible car in its class', with 61,000 exterior variations and 82,000 different ways to 'design' the interior.

It was this flexibility, said Deputy Chairman of Opel/Vauxhall's Management Board, Dr. Thomas Sedran, that has posed so many challenges for planning, logistics and manufacturing.

"Whoever orders an Adam today can be quite certain that they won't see an identical car. Almost every Adam will be unique - that's how extensive the diverse range is that we are building here. The highly qualified Eisenach team as well as everyone in the company who has worked on this project can be proud of this day," he added.

The first Adams will reach UK showrooms on March 8. Prices start from £11,255 on-the-road (OTR).
